Gifts of Hope Week from Armagh Diocesan Pastoral Plan

“Faith finds expression in concrete everyday actions meant to help our neighbours in body and spirit,” Feeding the hungry, visiting the sick, welcoming strangers, offering instruction, giving comfort,” Pope Francis

“Almost 140,000 children in Ireland are living in consistent poverty” C.S.O

We are a group of young people from 15y-17y who are training in pastoral leadership skills, we are organising an event for the Year of Mercy to help families in our community. Help us collect as many non perishable essential items for the babies of families in need in our Community during the week from 15th May – 22nd May 2016. Please leave items in boxes provided at all Masses or in the parish sacristy on 15th or 22nd May or call us to find a drop off point near you.

Results:  Many families in need were given food hampers through the parish and through distribution by the Connect Family Centre in Moneymore Drogheda, which they are very thankful for. (see pictures)
