frgerry

Fr Gerry Campbell

I am a native of Magherafelt Co. Derry. I have two sisters (one deceased ) and two brothers. My pastoral background is in parish and youth ministry as well as primary level catechesis. I am presently parish priest of Kilkerley & Knockbridge near Dundalk. My other responsibilities include diocesan Trocaire representative  for the Archdiocese of Armagh and Chaplain to the National Service Committee of Charismatic Renewal. My passion is for the ‘new evangelisation’. I am a member of The 12: an evangelisation team, commissioned by Cardinal Seán Brady on 12/12/12 whose Mission is to ‘know and love Jesus more, to make Him better known and loved’. My hobbies are reading, listening to music and when I can…running!

She is particularly interested in the area of Adult Faith Development.  She believes in the value of providing opportunities for adults to come to know Christ in a personal and heartfelt manner.  From this place of a felt knowledge and love of Christ great things can happen personally and in the church.
